Dr Ntekim is passionate about and experienced in restorative dentistry and implant prosthodontics and has a large portfolio of post graduate training; qualifications and clinical experience to that end. He completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Restorative Dentistry at the Post Graduate Dental Department of the University of Leeds and a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Implant Dentistry at Newcastle University Dental Hospital. All the surgeries are furnished to the highest of standards incorporating fully digital radiography, digital dental impression taking, digital photography and digitized patient record management system.
The practice has an in house digital scanning suite (Sirona Orthophos 3D CBCT scanner with SIDEXIS 4 software) which incorporates the full digital workflow for highly accurate diagnostics.
We have a Local Health Board accredited, high standard separate central decontamination unit where all the clinical instruments are centrally decontaminated, sterilized and safely stored.
We use the latest technology in Computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Milling system (CEREC by Dentsply Sirona) for our in house laboratory, for single visit dentistry. So patients can leave the premises with their laboratory made restorations in minutes and dont have to come back for a fit appointment. We have a viewing area for patients interested in the on site CAD/CAM milling process.
We have recently acquired laser technology (Biolase) for soft tissue surgery to minise scarring and promote/improve soft tissue healing.
We operate a comprehensive direct access hygiene service, the dental hygienist will be happy to attend to your needs and maintain your periodontal health. By working with the dentists, our hygienist will deliver a personalised hygiene programme tailored to your specific needs, a plan designed to protect and maintain your dental health.
It is a Wales Deanery accredited Dental Foundation Training practice where newly qualified dentists carry out their foundation training under the mentorship and supervision of Dr. Ntekim.
